Rubber gaskets

The two mating surfaces of the flanges generally have microscopic irregularities on their surfaces. In order to fill those microscopic irregularities, a mechanical gasket is used so as to prevent leakages from or into the joined objects while under compression. Such a gasket is called a flange gasket. Flange gaskets acts as a static seal.

A washer is a mechanical seal used for sealing two mating parts. A rubber washer has a flat ring like structure having certain outside diameter (O.D), inner diameter (I.D) and thickness which is used to create tight seal between the two parts. Along with sealing, it helps in eliminating vibration and sound between the parts.

Tri Clover gaskets are used for connecting two pipes, mainly in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and chemical industries. Tri Clover (TC) gaskets are used for sealing TC flanges. Butterfly valve gaskets are installed in butterfly valves to regulate the oil flow between the radiator and the main tank. Hence, these gaskets have very extensive application in underground processes.

An autoclave is a pressurized chamber that is used for carrying out medical, industrial and scientific processes requiring elevated temperatures and pressures. In pharmaceutical applications, autoclaves are required for sterilizing equipment. In chemical set ups, autoclaves are necessary for vulcanizing and curing rubber.
